Onde Onde!
I was really excited about this commissioned piece. (Largely because I have an excuse to get some for reference and eat them afterwards!)
The little green balls fragrant with the flavour of pandan and coated generously with steamed coconut would pop in your mouth to release a little burst of gula melaka syrup.
Here's a miniature version made for a fellow Onde Onde fan!
And also a miniature replica of a breakfast platter from a really good coffee place. No prizes for guessing which! These were both made into magnets so that they can be immortalized forever in their miniature forms. heh!
Of course, delivering the miniatures in person gave me yet another excuse to sit down and have some coffee and brunch while settling matters for school and my upcoming summer plans. Sitting by the large glass windows, the sun provided excellent natural lighting for a great food photo.
