Hello!
Here's the start of something new!
So internship has kept me busy for the summer but in a flash, both are coming to an end. Having pretty mixed feelings about it. Learnt a lot on the job and really met some of the best people and mentors but at the same time, looking forward to finally having one full free week yay!
Haven't been making miniatures for some time now and it's always great to get back to it.
Rather happy with how these miniature siew mai turned out!
---
I really like how the evening sun would give everything this nice orange tint (this picture definitely doesn't do it justice) But the lift landing has become one of my favourite daily sunset spots, although it would be better without the panels.
Anyway, an old classmate linked me up with a fresh new dining concept and I am super excited to collaborate with them. Things are still being sorted out now but I'll be sure to update when I do have more details!
But heres a sneak peak:
I never really made much of my own miniature bowls and plates because they are SO. HARD. TO. PERFECT. But this granite bowl seems to do fine. Made a mold with a mini ceramic bowl I have and experimented with making the granite bowls.
Accidentally burnt the first one but I actually like how it turned out – looks like it could've been intention if not for that extra burnt part on the rim.
